SERVO-HYDRAULC TESTING LABORATORY

CFM Schiller GmbH – Specialists for Test Rigs and their Applications

Since 1978, CFM Schiller has been an effective partner in a variety of industrial applications. The company has specialized in complex vibration isolation systems as well as design and production of servo-hydraulic applications for test rigs. Our own testing department carries out dynamic servo-hydraulic analyses. In the beginning, a one-channel test rig setup with an analog controller was used to determine the damping ratio of a viscous damper. The equipment has then been expanded continuously, so that we have servo-hydraulic actuators with forces up to 500 kN available today. The actuators are controlled either through an analog system or a digital FLEXtest CTC controller. Our scope of testing ranges from smallest testing setups to heavy-duty test rig applications for large specimens.

Since 2010, we at CFM Schiller have offered testing and analysis services for our customers. Additionally, we feature FEM analyses for component optimization in order to guarantee a development process with maximum efficiency.

Testing services at CFM Schiller

It has always been a guideline at CFM Schiller to extensively test our products regarding functionality and fatigue durability before delivery to the customer. This procedure ensures maximum quality of our products. The testing laboratory has therefor been expanded continuously and our employees have acquired fundamental knowledge from the testing experience. Servo-hydraulic tests with actuators with a tensile/compressive force of up to 500 kN and digital controllers have been established as our system standard. All testing applications have developed a high-performance testing laboratory, which is deeply integrated in the workflow at CFM Schiller, such as the design and development processes.
