Usage and design of servo-hydraulic test rigs are universal. Applications range from component part and assembly testing in materials science to fatigue testing of large scale components to full-vehicle road simulators in the automotive industry. Simple tests with only one degree of freedom can usually be realized with a single actuator and 1-channel control. Along with simple ones, we offer test rig systems with up to 6 degrees of freedom and a multiple number of actuators for most complex kinematics.

The periodic excitation of the specimen through servo-hydraulic actuators creates oscillations, which must be isolated for various reasons. The most important factors are safety and health of workers that are exposed to the risks of vibrations at the workplace. By decoupling the test rig from the surroundings, effective legal specifications in the EU guideline 2002/44/EC are met. Our vibration isolation systems also protect the surrounding infrastructure from structural damages. Additionally, measurements in proximity to the test rig are not falsified by vibrations.
The experienced CFM Engineers develop your servo-hydraulic test rig with suitable vibration isolation. For testing applications with high dynamics, vibrations are isolated with a seismic mass. The vibration isolation system is designed with air springs, steel spring isolators, or elastomer elements depending on the application.
