TYPE MAS AND MAS-M

CFM Air Springs type MAS have a natural frequency between 2.1 Hz and 2.6 Hz, depending on size and operating pressure. At an operating pressure of 6 bar, a maximum load capacity of 200 kN per air spring can be achieved.

The type MAS air spring is primarily used as an isolation element for passive vibration isolations of measuring setups and other sensitive devices as well as for active vibration isolation of low-dynamic test rigs such as engine or transmission test rigs. The MAS air spring has the advantage of higher horizontal stiffness over our BZ air spring. Furthermore, the damping can be adjusted by means of a throttle valve.

MAS-C Air Springs feature an integrated level control valve. It controls the air spring’s inflow or outflow of compressed air in order to readjust the level after a change of load.

MAS-CPC Air Springs feature an electrical position control as well as the integrated level control valve.

MAS-M Air Springs are designed for small installation heights and little payloads.
