CLAMPING RAILS

Clamping rails are an alternative method of clamping, when only few T-slots are required. CFM Schiller offers clamping rails in multiple types and different materials, depending on your desired application. Our standard materials are:

  • Gray cast iron (EN-GJL-250 / 0.6025)
  • Steel (S235JRG2 / 1.0038 or S355J2G3 / 1.0570)
  • Stainless steel (X5CrNi18-10 / 1.4404 or X6CrNiMoTi17-12-2 / 1.4571)

The clamping rails can be manufactured with T-slots according to DIN 650 in tolerance zone H7, H8, or H12, with predefined through holes, or fastening screw threads. Any customized versions that differ from our standard will be produced according to your specifications.

Gray cast iron clamping rails

  • precision surface and accurately fitting T-slot
  • available in length up to 6 000 mm (approx. 19.6 ft)
  • mounting with masonry bolts or chemical anchors
  • top side is machined

Steel and stainless steel clamping rails

  • different types
  • precision surface and accurately fitting T-slot
  • steel available in length up to 6 000 mm (approx. 19.6 ft)
  • stainless steel available in length up to 4 500 mm (approx. 14.7 ft)
  • T-slots with lifting pockets on both ends
  • different options of mounting:
    - screwing to an even underground (e.g. clamping plate)
    - welding
    - anchoring into a concrete ground or concrete foundation
    - grouting (submerged into ground)
